Kappa Delta Sorority
About Our Chapter: The Zeta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) at the College of Charleston. We were chartered on our campus nearly 20 years ago on November 16, 1996. We pride ourselves on having fun with our sisters while living Kappa Delta's open motto: "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest." Membership in Kappa Delta enriches our lives through friendships, opportunities for personal growth, cherished memories, commitment to high ideals, and a sense of pride in being a KD!

Our most recent awards are Excellence in Citizenship and Social Development, Philanthropy Donation Award, Most Improved GPA Award, Highest GPA Award, Excellence in Academic Programming, and Chapter of Excellence. We’re most proud of the Chapter of Excellence Award--it’s the highest honor given in our Greek community, which we’ve received six years in a row!
We’re so proud of our accomplishments and of the friendship, fun, and sisterhood that have made them all possible! We know we have a very bright future as a chapter and couldn’t be more excited! Please explore the rest of our website to see everything we love about being Kappa Delta sisters!
Created by Kappa Delta Sorority in 2009, the Confidence Coalition is an alliance committed to promoting self-confidence in girls and women so that they may feel empowered to overcome social barriers and be inspired to reach their greatest potential. Kappa Delta’s platform of confidence is the basis for the KD membership experience. Our two philanthropies include Girl Scouts of the USA and Prevent Child Abuse America. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. The same could be said for Kappa Delta as it relates to young women. With common values and a commitment to leadership development, Kappa Delta and Girl Scouts are sisters at heart. Darkness to Light is our local Charleston chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. Our chapter holds a Shamrock Golf Tournament each year to support Darkness to Light and PCAA.
