A Letter from our President

Hello everyone, and welcome to the official website for the College of Charleston’s Panhellenic Council. We are thrilled you are interested in learning more about Panhellenic and all these exceptional organizations have to offer.

Our Panhellenic community consists of about 1,200 women representing our nine chapters;  Alpha Delta Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Phi Mu, Sigma Kappa, and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Each chapter, while unique and diverse on its own, strives to promote academic excellence, campus and community involvement, and the ability to foster leadership and interpersonal skills. Having gone through the primary recruitment experience myself, I know how it can seem overwhelming and intimidating at first. However, I can promise you that all the nerves will fade away the moment you run home to a sisterhood you will have for a lifetime. Joining a Panhellenic organization has allowed me to find a group of resilient, strong, and empowered women that I consider my family at my home away from home.

It is the greatest honor to lead such an influential community of women who make our Panhellenic family what it is today. I am forever grateful for all this community has given to me and I truly hope you find a forever sisterhood during your recruitment experience. In joining a sorority as a freshman, I never could have imagined where I would be today. Being a Panhellenic woman has contributed a great deal to my own growth over the last four years, and I could not be more excited for you all to embark on your own Panhellenic journey.

As always, GO COUGARS!

Sincerely,

Emma McClain
