The Panhellenic Council is the governing body of the 10 National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities at the College of Charleston. As a member of the National Panhellenic Conference, our council is part of a nationwide network of women's fraternities and sororities reaching over 620 college and university campuses in the U.S. and Canada.
At the College of Charleston, the council consists of 9 women who each hold a different position. The Panhellenic Council (often shortened to PanHel) acts as the governing body of the sorority community and promotes scholarship, philanthropy, and safety. They are in charge of organizing sorority recruitment and other Greek Life events throughout the year. The council is actively involved in chapter development, community service on and off campus, and provides activities and programs to address existing issues.
